Christmas Toy Drives

Many many churches and organizations are organizing or participating in toy drives for low-income children in the DC area. Let us praise God for these efforts work as we assist them and/or benefit from them.
Central Union Mission, as always, has a wide variety of ministries caring for the most poor and destitute among us.
- They hosted a toy drive December 4, but there's still time to give to the regular programs.

The DC Baptist Convention is partnering with the National Center for Children and Families in NCCF's Annual Toy Drive.
Please deliver unwrapped gifts to 6301 Greentree Rd., Bethesda, MD 20817 and give to the receptionist in the John and Penny White Volunteer and Training Center (Building #3) by Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 5:00pm.  Items are accepted Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.  Thank you for fulfilling these wishes, and please know that you are helping make the holidays a special time for our children and youth.  Questions? St. John's Catholic Church in Lafayette Square has an annual Christmas Toy Drive that began in November and ends Friday, December 17.  Contact: St. John's Parish Office, 1525 H St. NW, 202-347-8766. http://www.stjohns-dc.org/article.php?id=22#toy
