The site’s owner has allowed others to distribute its very helpful information, including the DC area’s regional page. CU's information is not comprehensive, but it is substantial. The DC regional page is posted, with minor changes, on TCDC in this series.

  1. Looks like you're unaware of the Washington Area Coalition of Men's Ministries (WACMM) which works with 400 churches in the region and whose events have been attended by over 31,000 men in the last ten years. They do tremendous work. Check them out at

  2. Thanks, Anonymous! You're right I wasn't aware of WACMM, but it looks like a very solid resource. I'll add it to the post shortly.

DC Area Church Classifieds

For many, the DC area is a transitory place. Whether people in your congregational family are moving down the block or across the world, changing jobs or doing home improvements, helping people through transitions is a frequent ministry in most of our communities. In addition to many personal helping hands, some have email listserves, and a handful of local congregations have public online classifieds to facilitate the process. Please leave a comment if there are any others not included.
